MUAR,
State of Johore, Malaysia, South East Asia
I
was born in a small town, called Maharani, Muar, in the southern state of
Malaysia. I have been living there with my family from the day I was born
until I was 18
years old.
Then I enrolled at MUCIA Program, a twinning program with Indiana University,
located hundreds miles away from my hometown.
Back then it was a quite and green place to live in, but today there are many
constructions and tall buildings rise like mushrooms. I like it the way it
was though. Not that I am against development or anything, but I have sweet
and loving memories of my families, my friends, and my teachers who care for
me. Well ... enough with that. There are quite many sites that you can netsurf
if you're interested to know more. Anyway, I list out a few sites that might
interest you. Happy netsurfing ...
"Tioman
Island (Pulau Tioman) is one of the 64
volcanic islands on the South China Sea. It is a paradise island endowed
with tropical charms; clear, blue waters; spotless beaches; and an untouched
rain tree jungle. Marine enthusiasts have miles of colorful underwater worlds
to explore. Nature lovers can go trekking or exploring on neighboring islands.
Windsurfing, diving, snorkeling, sailing, and fishing are popular here.
Diving lessons are available at the resort."
